Moderately loose-fitting, buttoned and pleated front with convertible collar, forward shoulder seam, drop shoulder, full-length sleeve with pleat at wrist, waist seam, hip-grazing straight sides. Optional elasticized back waist and invisible pocket with flap. Shirt: Mid-hip shirttail hem. Shirtdress: Side vents, rounded front hem, longer back hem with mitered corners. Full Skirt: Four gore, bulk-free forward pockets, decorative pocket opening, cut-on elasticized waist.
Suggested Fabrics: Shirt/Shirtdress: Linen, denim, pique, silk shantung, Tencel, medium-weight rayon. Skirt: Rayons, light and medium-weight linen, Tencel, silk crepe de chine, shantung, 3 ply silk, microfiber.
Notions: All garments: Steam-a-Seam, bodkin, chalk or fabric marker, point presser, safety pin. Shirt/Shirtdress: 3/8 yard of 3/4" elastic, six 5/8" buttons, raglan shoulder pads. Skirt: 1 yard of 1 1/2" elastic.
